Sermorelin + GHRP-6 is a dual-peptide research formulation combining a GHRH-receptor agonist with a ghrelin-receptor agonist. Sermorelin (5mg) activates GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs via cAMP. GHRP-6 (5mg) activates GHS-R1a through G-protein and calcium signalling. Together they provide a model for investigating complementary endocrine pathways with documented synergistic growth hormone responses. GHRP-6 additionally contributes appetite-related hypothalamic signalling. Each component is assayed independently on the Certificate of Analysis. FAB Research supplies this blend as a 10mg pre-filled metered research pen.
- Sermorelin (5 mg)
- GHRP-6 (5 mg)
Each component is assayed separately on the Certificate of Analysis.
Sermorelin and GHRP-6 act through distinct receptor systems. GHRH receptor activation involves Gs protein, cAMP elevation and calcium-dependent growth hormone release, modulated by somatostatin tone. GHS-R1a activation involves phospholipase C and intracellular calcium mobilisation. The two pathways converge on pituitary somatotrophs, producing synergistic release well-documented in combination pharmacology literature. GHRP-6 additionally activates hypothalamic ghrelin circuits and has been investigated for cytoprotective effects in cardiac and gastric models independent of growth hormone release.
A historically important pairing with strong individual compound literature. Combination pharmacology studies documented synergistic growth hormone release greater than either compound alone. The selectivity profile differs from Sermorelin + Ipamorelin: GHRP-6 produces more pronounced cortisol and prolactin responses, making this combination relevant to studies where the full endocrine consequences of ghrelin receptor activation are being investigated. Note: listed by anti-doping authorities.
- 2.5 mg per application (1.25 mg Sermorelin + 1.25 mg GHRP-6 per dose)
- 4 doses per pen (10 mg total)
- Dual-pathway combination: GHRH-R (Sermorelin) + GHS-R1a (GHRP-6) co-stimulation
- Each component independently assayed on the Certificate of Analysis
Storage: Store refrigerated at 2–8 °C in the original sealed box. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
- For in-vitro laboratory and preclinical research only — not for human or animal administration
- GHRP-6 component is listed by WADA — detection is established
- Dual-pathway GH secretagogue design: synergistic release greater than either component individually — well documented in combination pharmacology literature
- GHRP-6 appetite stimulation, cortisol and prolactin elevation will be present in this combination — account for in study designs involving food intake, HPA axis or prolactin endpoints
- Combined effects from both components
- Pronounced appetite / hunger stimulation (GHRP-6 component — hypothalamic GHS-R1a mechanism)
- Flushing, headache (both components contribute)
- Transient water retention
- Transient cortisol and prolactin elevation (GHRP-6 component — intermediate level)
- Injection site reactions
- Anti-doping listed (GHRP-6 component): detection established
Effects listed are observations from published research literature and are not predictions for any specific use. All FAB Research products are for in-vitro laboratory research — not for human or animal administration.
